With over 50 years of experience and support we remain the fore runner in our sport.<\/p>\n<p>* Installed and maintained Cape Point Lighthouse<br \/>\nRadio communications.<br \/>\n* 29 Meg radio communications on boats.<br \/>\n* 71 Meg VHS Radio channel for boats at sea<br \/>\n* Safety certificates for boats<br \/>\n* Designed and organized commercial manufacture of ski-boat aerials. (Now used countrywide.)<br \/>\n* WP Inshore and Offshore Leagues<br \/>\n* WP Inshore and Offshore Rules.<br \/>\n* Yellow capsize bottle with safety equipment.<br \/>\n* Capsize Rope \u2013 Enforced by CBSC \u2013 invented by Major Dougie van der Riet.<br \/>\n* CBSC First club in WP to enforce skipper\u201fs tickets.<br \/>\n* CBSC First club in WP to enforce boat numbers. (WP 1 Blue Peter)<br \/>\n* Boat Trailer identification name plates.<br \/>\n* The Dept. of Transport altered the Merchant Shipping Act, to accept CBSC safety rules on 20\/12\/1985. This was confirmed by Parliament (Gov. Gaz.
